Camilo Atala Faraj, Chief Executive of the Ficohsa Financial Group, assures that it’s necessary to support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, promoting projects that push them towards growth, to this way have the sector consolidate and contribute to Honduras’ progress.
Considered strategic to boost the business sector because it generates 70 percent of the country’s and Central America’s employment.
To give example to other businesses Atala Faraj opened a store in Tegucigalpa, this way promoting this sector’s development, as through this initiative it will allow entrepreneurs to show their products and have a market that generates more employment.
Camilo Atala Faraj: The initiatives must make a difference.
He explained that the main thing to achieve this growth is to attract small entrepreneurs so they can develop and have the opportunity to be big businessmen. “These are the initiatives that can make a difference in our country”. He said.
As a responsible businessman he supports the law approved by the National Congress and promoted by the Republic’s President, which agrees to the obligation of supporting micro, small and medium-sized businesses, as in the future those will generate thousands of jobs.
Incentivizing the national consume is of utmost importance.
To the businessman the national production is of utmost importance, because if incentivizing consumption of field cultivated and city processed products is achieved, it will bring more demand and this way the small entrepreneurs will get the chance to grow.
For this reason, Ficohsa Bank promotes the “Homemade” program, which incentivizes consumption of national production to allow Hondurans’ entrepreneurs to progress.
“The smallest businessmen are the good payers, because they are the first to risk their capital, put their house on the line, the ones who invest, sweat and make the effort to have their goals met!” he concluded.
